Harvesting & Cookery Workshops – April 2025 Onwards

Our Children’s Education Garden is nearly completed and we are excited to welcome primary aged children back for workshops from April 2025.

During these sessions children explore our garden, identify vegetables and harvest produce. They learn about seasonality, local food and growing, sow and tend crops, taste raw salads, peas, beans, fruits and herbs and then cook and eat a seasonal dish (typically a soup) using the vegetables and herbs harvested. Sessions include basic cookery and safe knife skills.

Sessions are aimed at KS2 pupils, but could be tailored for younger or older children.

To extend your trip to us you are welcome to bring a picnic lunch and join us for a two hour Southside Farm Tour.
