This workshop exploring the food issues around climate and sustainability. It’s aimed at KS1 and KS2 children but can be adapted for older young people.
The session explores seasonality, growing and shopping locally, food miles, the importance of plants, food waste, recycling, food for the future, C02 and the role of plants. Children will think about the positive changes they can make to protect our planet.
Sessions are 2 hours. Children go home with a mini seed kit to grow at home.
To extend your trip to us you are welcome to bring a picnic lunch, order our DIY Healthy lunch and join us for a Southside Farm Tour or book a different afternoon workshop.
